Properties > Aero Classes > Steady State Coefficients

View and modify general Aero Class properties and associated steady state coefficients. Aero Classes can be attached to elements (>Structure>Elements>Cross Sections)  for automated calculation of wind forces.

SettingDescription
Aero Class Table Display general information about the available Aero Classes.
SettingDescription
Group, Aero Group and name of Aero Class
RefCS: Cross section related to the Aero Class for calculation with CFD module
Data, Sym Type of data and flag indicating if coefficients for - directions can be deduced from those of + directions
  • Single Values: Only one coefficient and derivate is given per main direction
  • Table: Several values can be given for each main direction
FactorX, FactorY, FactorZ Additional factors for steady state coefficients
DragX, FIDx Drag coefficient for longitudinal wind and normalization length
